Back from Israel
I've just returned from a trip to Israel where I performed music from the Broadway bound new musical IMAGINE THIS (formerly MASADA) in a concert in the Judean Desert at the base of Masada. It was unreal. I am still overwhelmed by the country--the people, the geography, the history, the spirituality...
I had the incredible opportunity to travel the country from Tel Aviv to Megiddo, Nazareth, Cesaria, the Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, Jaffa, Masada, and the Dead Sea. And then to sing with Miri Mesika (Israel's hottest female pop star) and Amick Byram (from LA) in a concert at the base of one of the most famous mountains in Israel's history--what can I say? I'm still in awe of it all. I will post pictures as soon as i have some uploaded.
And how nice to return to a Drama Desk Award Nomination! I'm honored and thrilled. Thank you to all involved for giving me this honor.

wow! that is really cool that you had that opportunity! next year i am going to be singing in a concert in Italy..and im a little nervous about singing in their language! hopefully I dont mess it up!!
congrats also on your nomination - it is well deserved.
My cousin saw you!! He was visiting there from Lebanon with his church group charity ( right now called Christians of Lebanon and Beyond, but for some reason it's always changing), and they were working with a Jewish charity group (whose name is in Hebrew so I can't spell it, or even pronounce it..) and they all went!! Yay! He said you did SUCH a good job and the music is wonderful (and he's in love with Miri Mesika but that's been for a while now). Congrats again on your Drama Desk Nomination! I made sure everyone I knew voted for you on the Broadway.com awards after I did. The Middle East is really soo beautiful, I really hope I can go one day. I'm glad you had such a great experience there! So exciting!

Aaron, congratulations about Masada's going to broadway. That is so exciting!! The music is just incredible. I've shared it with friends.
And about Masada the mountain: did you take the snake path up? Now that's real fun... especially in the heat. Best of luck!
