What Dreams May Come?
It's been an incredible summer of firsts. What began with a first-- leaving Broadway for the first time in almost 2 years and heading to the Holy Land for a once in a lifetime experience, has just ended tonite, 4 months later, with another first-- a day shooting my first role on prime time television. Here's what happened in between:
Les Miz final perf April 22; first trip to Israel May April 26-May 6; first Drama Desk Award nomination May 20; first time with the Boston Pops June 9-15; first record deal in London June 20-23; first time at Tanglewood (w/Boston Pops) July 9/10; London July 11-19; first concert with Marvin Hamlisch Washington DC July 21/22; first time at the Hollywood Bowl in LA uly 23-Aug 6; first record deal gone sour London August 8-AUgust 16; first day player on episodic tv August 28/29
And now I'm home. HOME...
Such highs and such lows.
So now what? A friend gave me great advice: Breathe. And take some time to appreciate the overload of it all.
And then more dreams of more firsts will come...and that makes me feel lucky and blessed and happy.

Mr Lazar: I had the privelege of seeing you first in Les Miserables back in December, and then in July at the Marvin Hamlisch concert to which I forced my friend to come for the sole reason that you were singing. We were not disappointed. After you finished singing the Phantom of the Opera sequence, my friend and I both felt like we had just come off some kind of amazing (and I do mean AMAZING) high. We then agreed that you are by far one of the best singers alive. I am so glad to see you in such good spirits despite all the stresses. I am confident that you will have another job soon because you are so very talented. My friend and I would like to let you know that we love you and will continue to watch your success and support you. The best of luck to you, and God bless :)
thanks lauren. that's one of the nicest compliments i've ever received!
Hey, Aaron-
Seems like you've had quite a summer! I'm sure you won't be unemployed for long; you're fantastic and likely something quite awesome will come up soon! At any rate, a voice as wonderful as yours deserves to have a solo album recorded, so I'm really hoping you get some luck in that department!
Just found out you'll be at Red Fern Theatre in a couple of weeks, perhaps I'll see you there! :)
I like that- no worries. Highs and lows come and go. I think that you will become employed soon- with your talent it won't be hard. Good Luck!!!
I saw you at wolftrap and you were amazing!!!
Sarah ^_^
i downloaded Imagine This last night and I am in love with the song Hail the way you sing it with such passion just thrilled me and the line, "Rome is my cross, and you are the final nail," gave me goosebumps i just had to listen to over and over again. No doubt in my mind you will be employed again and im excited to see you in your debut at carnegie hall.
Aaron,
I just listened to your music on here and wow! I thought your voice was amazing back in high school! (You probably don't remember me though) In any event, your voice is so relaxing and like the woman above wrote it was amazing! I'm not sure how much better you can get b/c your voice sounds perfect the way it is! Also, what tv show are you going to be on? I hope you have a happy and healthy new year.
OK Aaron. Time for an update!
