Red Fern Shout Out
Just a shout out to a great new theater company called The Red Fern Theater Company. A Non-Profit Socially Conscious theater group that pairs each play they put on with an appropriate charity and donates a portion of all ticket sales to the charity.
I just saw their production of A Piece of My Heart up at 78th and Broadway. Melanie Williams did a bang up job of casting and directing. You will be moved to tears, schooled about Vietnam from the female soldiers' POV, and leave the theater pondering what we could've learned from Vietnam that would allow us to be in Iraq. Oh and if you're lucky you may be privy to a talk-back after the show with any real life Vietnam veterans in the audience. It's a truly wonderful night in the theater.

Hey Aaron,
This is totally random and I apologize...but I just had to comment on our show yesterday in New Brunswick. I am part of the New Jersey Youth Chorus and was one of the people who shared the stage with you. You are totally awesome! I absolutely love your voice! Im not the only one though, haha....our whole chorus was raving about you guys last night after the concert. How did you get to broadway? It is my dream to do broadway and I have no idea where to begin. Well, just wanted to tell you that you are amazing!
:]
Aaron,
I have to tell you what an honor it was to sing at your concert last night. I'm in the NJ youth chorus and I can tell you that this concert blew all f us away. I've sung a lot of places, in groups and by myself, and I've never been one to get nervous. But I could barely breathe last night knowing someone so incredibly talented was singing on the sam stage as me.
For years I wanted to go into acting and theater. I took tons of classes and everything. Then I realized that being so busy with school and everything else I just didn't have time to start auditioning and everything. I was ok with it until last night. Now I'm really regretting it. To be able to move an audience the way you did, that has to be the most amazing feeling.
Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. I can assure you that I nor anyone in our choir will ever forget last night.
